On the 7th of July 2020 Rohidas Yadav of PRERAK conducted a training on organic fertilisers and insecticide with the villagers of the Kamar village of Devdongar, Mainpur Block, Gariyaband District, Chhattisgarh. He explained to the villagers that the use of organic fertilizer is very important in order to protect or lands and keep them healthy.
He also spoke about the use and preparation of organic insecticides using different ingredients which included neem oil, water, cow manure and cow urine. After mixing all ingredients the mix should be left to sit for 7 days after which it can be on the crops. This will ensure the prolonged health of the crops and provide a good and healthy harvest, as well as healthy soil.
