In April 2022 a Training program cum Farmers Meeting was held at Mirgichami village where organic Seed Storage methods were discussed. Farmers returned some desi seeds from the previous harvest for the community seed bank. Gobinda Sabar returned Ridgegourd seeds, Tutu Sabar provided Brinjal Seeds, Sami Sabar gave Sem Seeds, while Hetu Sabar contributed Pigeon pea seeds. respectively.
A total of around 1.5-2 Kg of seeds have been collected from farmers this year. Also farmers are want support for mixed cropping in a large area for Rice, Maize and other crops. The participants also carried out planning for Kitchen Gardens for the upcoming seasion and dissucssed which vegetables they will grow by themselves in Kharif.
